About Fenix South Africa

Fenix South Africa is run by Muhammad—better known as Mo—and his dedicated team, operating out of a warehouse in Boksburg, Johannesburg. Established in 2019 and now having just launched our new and improved website in February 2025. We're bringing The Worlds Best Flashlights - to your doorstep in South Africa.

One of the biggest moments for us that totally awoke our passion was when Mo personally visited the Fenix factory. What he saw there was nothing short of incredible:

"I was blown away to see how incredible this brand is. From machines that test flashlights in extreme temperatures—going from 45°C to -35°C—to drop tests where torches are repeatedly dropped 1.5 meters onto glass without a scratch. Some flashlights are kept underwater for over six months just to ensure they remain fully functional. One machine presses the flashlight switch 50,000 times to guarantee reliability. Even the headlamp bands are tested rigorously, stretched 1,000's of times to about one meters to ensure durability. I trust Fenix’s charging cables more than my own phone charger—they test them by hanging weights from them! Owning a Fenix Flashlights is like owning a Ferrari, it's something completely unmatched to what everyone else owns."
